A primary feature of the Senator Frank L. Madla Natural Area is of course “nature.” The park has a number of walking trails that offer an opportunity to stroll through trees, creek beds, and of course south Texas rocks with beautiful vistas and old structures dating back to the early 1900s. Walking the trails is also a good way to get a bit of exercise.
